What's Rocking Lowcountry Weddings In Late March 2017
Despite some recent cold weather, spring had sprung in Charleston. The flowers are in full bloom, the weekend activities are full throttle. We just had another successful Charleston Fashion Week last week, an event that keeps growing and growing year after year. Up next, the Cooper River Bridge Run is coming up on April 1. In between all of that, another wedding season is in full swing mixed in with all the hustle and bustle of just simply "living" in Charleston. Between the client meetings, blogging, and other wedding preparation and marketing, I've been refreshing my music catlaog and database and getting caught up on what's hot on the contemporary hit radio charts, as well as the Urban / Rap charts that are sure to thump a lot of spring and summer weddings in Charleston.
Ed Sheeran, who is coming to Charleston in September is holding strong at the top spot on the CHR charts with this extremely catchy track "Shape Of You". The popularity of Ed's latest hit has kept Zayn & Taylor Swift's song from the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack (I Don't Wanna Live Forever) from the top. Ed Sheeran may need to add another date in Charleston. Tickets to his September 5th show sold out in a matter of hours.
On the urban / rao side of things, Chris Brown has emerged at the top of the chart with his latest effort "Party". As we are officially into spring now, here are the Top 10 from these two cateogries and some of the songs that are going to thumping and rocking at Charleston weddings this spring going into the summer.
