As someone who has begun to wholeheartedly embrace AI (artificial intellgence), I find the technology both incredibly helpful, as well as potentially disruptive. I've spent the better part of the summer and fall of 2025 learning all of the in's and out's of AI in an effort to future-proof the rest of my career. And at the time of the publication of this post, I've managed to clear one of my first AI exams. As I may have mentioned in prior posts, being a successful, professional wedding DJ is not the only thing I do. Yeah, go figure. I've become a successful wedding DJ by it not being my sole source of income. But I digress, that is not the focus of this article today. The focus of this article is to let modern brides and grooms know that they can create their wedding playlist by using AI.  Since the absolute best wedding DJs give modern brides and grooms the full latitude to pick and choose what songs they would like to hear at their wedding, AI can be looked at as a helpful bit of technology to be used to make your life easier as you plan your wedding. After all, I've seen recently where a lot of wedding planners are now AI to help put your wedding together! 

It's YOUR wedding, so the music that you select for YOUR wedding should encompass YOUR musical likes and dislikes. A wedding DJ who tries to push a bunch of his / her personal collection onto your wedding is not the professional choice for you. And trust me, there are lots of low-end bottom feeder wedding DJs out there who continue to do this in 2025. But guess what? The modern bride and groom can get ahead of things by effortlessly using AI to help create their wedding playlist.  There are some people who may be very afraid of artificial intelligence. I must be honest with you, I was a little skeptical of it at first, but when I began to learn how AI works from a technical standpoint, I changed my tune and the skepticism I once had began to fade away. 

The truth of the matter is probably used Chat GPT or Perplexity or Claude to find me. And if you did, I greatly appreciate it. If you used one of those AI platforms to find a top wedding DJ for your wedding, then why couldn't you take things one step further by allowing yourself to save some time in helping curate the best wedding playlist for what will become one of the most memorable days of your life.

In all of my years as a professional wedding DJ, I truly have always believed the keys to success in keeping a packed dance floor is curating the best mix of music that keeps the party going, while also getting all of your guest out on the dance floor. You can use AI to request a mix of music that throwback hits, current favorites, and timeless classic, all filtered by your personal taste parameters.
