Nicole & Karl - Set Sail From The Charleston Yacht Club

09 October 2012

The bridal party introduction song they chose was a classic 80s One Hit Wonder from the band A-Ha titled "Take On Me"

After the bridal party introduction, we immediately segued into Nicole & Karl's first dance which was a song from the post-Steve Perry Journey line-up. "With Your Love" is a wonderful ballad that was released as part of the Arrival album released in 2001 with Steve Augeri on lead vocals.

Later during the reception, Nicole shared a special moment with her father. "Daddy's Little Angel", a song written by T Carter Music was received very well by her father.

Karl decided to share a moment with the woman who played a great role in raising him as his birth mother had passed. He asked me to choose a song for him, so I chose "A Song For Mama" by Boys II Men.

By request of the brides parents, I played "Could I Have This Dance" for them as Anne Murray was a big part of their wedding day years ago.

After the bouquet toss and the cutting of not one, but two cakes, the bridal party and guests ventured outside and lit their sparklers on the yacht club docks for Nicole & Karl to board a sailboat to be carried off to begin their new life as husband and wife.

All in all, it was a beautiful day. We are in a miniature fall season in Charleston right now and if you are seeking a DJ for your Charleston, SC weddings, look no further. Also booking for 2013 weddings.
