The bouquet toss is the time of the wedding reception for all the single ladies to have fun. Here are 30 choices for the bouquet toss song The bouquet toss is the time of the wedding reception for all the single ladies to have fun. Here are 30 choices for the bouquet toss song Mike Bills Entertainment

The bouquet toss is one of the fun traditions with a bride and all her single friends at her wedding reception. Whatever the reason, the popularity of this fun tradition  has dwindled in recent years. Perhaps some brides don't have enough single ladies for your wedding DJ to call up to have fun?  Some modern brides believe that this tradition might border on the cheesy side. Should you decide to do a bouquet toss, this moment of the night is just as important as the other key moments of your reception. You'll want to get your wedding DJ to help you choose a song that they can fire up rather quickly to change things up abruptly to get all the single ladies up on the dance floor.  Whoever catches the bouquet will be next in line to be walking down the aisle so this is oftentimes an important moment for the girls at your reception. Being one of the top Charleston Wedding DJs, I've put together this post of 30 Best Bouquet Toss Songs.  You'll want to read on for the chance at maximum fun to be had with you and your girls.

You'll find that some of these songs are rather obvious. You'll find that some of them are "cliche", and as you read through the list, be sure to take note at an obvious choice NOT placed onto this post. It is mentioned at the end of the post, but see if you can figure out which song it is before you get to the end of this post.  Some of the songs I've added into this list are personal choices that I've used on a whim with some of my past clients.

"Cosmic Girl" | Jamiroquai
"Cosmic Girl" is the second song to be released from the 1996 album "Traveling Without Moving". This groovy track is one of my favorite songs of the 90s. The song would reach #7 on the Dance Club chart and has been remixed several times.

"Oh Pretty Woman" | Roy Orbison

Later covered in the 80s by rock band Van Halen, this classic from Roy Orbison was released in the summer of 1964 and would become a #1 for 3 straight weeks on the Hot 100 in September 1964.  You can also find this song in the 1990 movie Pretty Woman, starring Julia Roberts.

"Like A Virgin" | Madonna
This title track to Madonna's 1984 album was released on Halloween 1984.  "Like A Virgin" was the first Number 1 song for Madonna. She'd have 12 in all.   It's the perfect song for the modern bride who loves her 80s music.

"Just A Girl" | No Doubt
Looking for a fun 90s song for your bouquet song? This one is for you.  "Just A Girl" was the first song to be released in 1995 from No Doubt's album Tragic Kingdom, the same album which had "Don't Speak" on it.  The song would peak at #10 on the alternative chart.

"No Scrubs" | TLC
The girls who had you chasing Waterfalls in 1994 were talking about guys who did not own their own car in 1999 with "No Scrubs".  "No Scrubs" would become one of the most popular songs of their career and one of the biggest songs in all of 1999.

"That's My Girl" | Fifth Harmony
Released in the fall of 2016, the song had a short life on the Billboard Hot 100, but would go all the way to #1 in Brazil. All the single ladies at your wedding will come to the dance floor and say to you "That's My Girl". :)

"Where My Girls At" | 702
In doing the research for this blog post, it came to my attention that "Where My Girls At" was supposed to be recorded by TLC, but they passed and 702 would release it in the spring of 1999. 702 would score a #4 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, and top the Rhythmic charts in 1999.

"Glamorous" | Fergie feat. Ludacris
You can find "Glamorous" on Fergie's album, The Dutchess released in 2006. "Glamorous" hit radio in early 2007 and would make it all the way to Number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #3 on the Rhythmic chart.

"Lady Marmalade" | LaBelle
Patti Labelle originally recorded and released this song in 1974, and it would make it all the Number 1 for one week. It would later be covered by Pink, Christina Aguilera, Mya, and Lil' Kim for the 2001 movie soundtrack for Moulin Rouge.

"She's A Lady" | Tom Jones
Originally written by Paul Anka, it would become a signature song for Tom Jones upon it's release in January 1971. The song would top the Cashbox 100 charts, and #2 on the Billboard Hot 100.

"Diva" | Beyonce
The album is I Am...Sasha Fierce. The year was 2008.  The song was released at the same time as "Halo" in January of 2009 and break into the Top 20 in March 2009.

"Wannabe" | Spice Girls
This would be the song to break their careers wide open. The song was released in the summer of 1996 and is featured on the album Spice. By the end of 1996 and early 1997, "Wanna Be" would become a Number 1 song in 22 different countries and one of the most popular bouquet toss songs over the past 20 years at weddings all over.

"Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" | Cyndi Lauper
Your single friends who have come to your wedding are there to have fun with you, and things always get a little crazy when all the pretty single girls come to the dance floor for a little fun. Some DJs think this Cyndi Lauper song is "cliche" for a bouquet toss.  I don't think so. I think it's perfect to throw on because girls respond to it very well.  The song, which was one of Cyndi's biggest hits would peak at #2 on the Hot 100, and become #1 in 7 other countries.

"The Look" | Roxette
Being an 80s music DJ, this was a natural selection for me to add into this list of bouquet toss songs. "Banging on the head drum, shaking like a mad bull, she's got the look...." Released in America because of a foreign exchange student coming back from Europe with a copy of the song. The student would bring it to their local radio station and it spread like wildfire becoming Number 1 on the Hot 100, as well as 10 other countries in 1989.

"Girls Girls Girls" | Motley Crue
Back in the 80s, Motley Crue was one of the most popular metal bands to come out of Los Angeles. In May 1987, they'd release the album Girls Girls Girls, and this title track would peak at #12 on the Billboard Hot 100. Brides who are a fan of their 80s rock do not hesitate to choose this track for their bouquet toss song.

"Girls" | Beastie Boys
"Girls" was the last song to be released off their monumental 1986 album "Licensed To Ill".   In conducting the research for this post, I was reading that the song was never performed live, but DJs have put it on at weddings for the bouquet toss.

"Eye Of The Tiger" | Survivor
"Eye Of The Tiger" is a song that is most likely every 80s music fan's playlist.  The intro of the song offers your wedding DJ the chance to get all the single girls up on the dance floor before the vocals begin. If you are a fan of Rocky, you probably remember this #1 smash hit on the Hot 100 in the 3rd sequel of the movie in the summer of 1982.

"All I Wanna Do" | Sheryl Crow
This song that got it all started for Sheryl Crow can be found on her album Tuesday Night Music Club back in 1994.  "All I Wanna Do" became one of the biggest songs of 1994 as it peaked at #2 on the Hot 100, and #1 on the Adult contemporary chart.

"It's Raining Men" | The Weather Girls
VH1 ranked "It's Raining Men" on their Top 100 greatest dance songs. The song was released back in the fall of 1982 and would spend 11 weeks on the chart only making it as high as #46, but #1 on the Hot R&B and Hip-Hop singles chart.

"Ladies Night" | Kool & The Gang
Definitely a great song to put on to get all the single ladies at your wedding reception up on the dance floor to see just who will catch that elusive bouquet. Released in the fall of 1979, "Ladies Night" would peak inside the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100.

"This One's For The Girls" | Martina McBride
Martina McBride would score a crossover hit with this song back in 2003. "This One's For The Girls" would make it all the way to #1 on the adult contemporary chart.  The song is a perfect choice for the modern bride seeking a country song for this very fun moment with "her girls" during her wedding reception.

"That Don't Impress Me Much [UK Remix] | Shania Twain
So your name is Brad Pitt?  Another country music selection here from the great Shania Twain, but the UK remix of the song that hit England in the spring of 1999 is the one version I prefer playing. Country was crossing over lots in the late 90s and this song would be no exception breaking into the Top 10 on the Hot 100 and Adult contemporary charts.

"Material Girl" | Madonna
"Material Girl" would be the second single off Madonna's Like A Virgin record released in January of 1985. The song would peak at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.  She would be called the "Material Girl" after the release of this song, but in later interviews, Madonna would admit she did not like that label.

"I'm Every Woman" | Whitney Houston
Originally written and released in 1978 by Chaka Khan,  the late Whitney Houston would cover the song for The Bodyguard soundtrack. It would be the second song to be released off the soundtrack and would top at #4 on the Hot 100.

"Miss Independent" | Kelly Clarkson
Kelly Clarkson was the first American Idol winner and has always been my favorite of all the winners.  Released in the spring of 2003, "Miss Independent" would make it to #1 on the Mainstream Top 40 chart.

"Dear Future Husband" | Meghan Trainor
Released in the spring of 2015, "Dear Future Husband" would become the third Top 20 hit for Meghan Trainor and would become one of the newest selections for the bouquet toss song during future wedding seasons.

"Hit Me With Your Best Shot" | Pat Benatar
Pat Benatar is easily on my list of the greatest female rock vocalists of all time. Her album Crimes Of Passion was released in the summer of 1980 and "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" would be the second song to break onto radio. "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" would become Pat Benatar's signature song.

"I Wanna Have Some Fun" | Samantha Fox
Samantha Fox was a girl who liked to have fun back in the 80s. I never saw this song on a lot of the typical bouquet toss songs, so I thought I would add it into my own list of songs for this fun moment with your girls. The song was released in the fall of 1988 and would peak at #8 on the Hot 100 chart, and #2 on the Hot Dance club chart.

"Milkshake" | Kelis
"Milkshake" would become the first song to be released off Kelis's 2003 album, Tasty. "Milkshake" would become a fun choice for the bouquet toss song after the song reached #3 on the Hot 100 chart in the fall of 2003.

"Bad Girls" | Donna Summer
For the last song on this list of popular bouquet toss songs, we go back to the peak of the disco era in the summer of 1979.  Donna Summer, who was the queen of disco released her Bad Girls album, and the title track would spend 5 weeks at the top of the Hot 100 charts during the summer.

Professional and Creative

Mike was kind, courteous, professional, and creative! We thoroughly enjoyed working with him for our destination wedding at Folly Beach. We gave Mike minimal guidance and he caught on to our "style" quickly and efficiently.
