Amy & Kade - Summer Showers Around The Island House

Amy & Kade were a destination couple from the upstate of South Carolina that chose the lovely and scenie Island House on John's Island for their Charleston wedding. Amy & Kade found me online back in the spring and met me shortly before Memorial Day weekend. They were from the upstate area around Clemson.

The Island House has one of the best backdrops of any wedding venue in the Charleston area. It has undergone some wonderful upgrades and even become more "vendor friendly" by allowing load ins right up to the tent. Also, more lighting has been added to make an already beautiful area even more beautiful.

Guests extended their umbrellas briefly during the ceremony as the light rain fell, but as the ceremony ended, the rain ended, and the sun came out, with a bit of a breeze off the water which helped with the August humidity.
