Kristin + Matt: Conservatory At Magnolia Plantation Wedding

16 November 2014

The weather in Charleston by the time we make it to the middle of November is some of the most tolerable through out the entire year.  This means that outdoor wedding ceremonies are nice and cool and crisp and the mosquitoes have died off.  And as a professional wedding DJ, it's always cool and refreshing to arrive at a wedding venue and not have to sweat as I load in all my gear and get set up for a wedding. Kristin & Matt came to Charleston, SC for their wedding by way of the Land Of 10,000 Lakes (Minnesota).  With temperatures in the upper 50s - around 60 at the time of ceremony, these temperatures would be warm for this bride and groom from Minnesota.  Fall is one of the best seasons to get married at Magnolia Plantation; especially having your wedding ceremony and reception at The Conservatory.

Magnolia Plantation is one of the most popular wedding venues in the entire Charleston, SC area. But when you visit Magnolia Plantation, you've got the option to have your weddnig ceremony and reception at ONE of THREE locations on the plantation. If you are a destination bride and groom who are looking to get married in Charleston, then Magnolia Plantation and Gardens is one of the places you should (at least) tour before you sign a contract on your wedding venue. For more information about Magnolia Plantation, be sure to check out this archived post about a Tour Of Magnolia Plantation.    Kristin & Matt had a small, intimate group of guests that was approaching 50 people. The Conservatory At Magnolia Plantation is the perfect choice for wedding sizes that range from 50 -80 people.  The Conservatory is right next to the Schoolhouse Pond and you'll walk over to the classic Red Bridge over to the lawn for your wedding ceremony. Most brides and grooms who chose to have their wedding ceremony at The Conservatory will hold it on the lawn at the Schoolhouse Pond. This setting allows you to enjoy the beautiful backdrop and breezes from the Ashley River.

Interesting In Hiring Mike Bills To Be Your Wedding DJ?
And there you have it, another one of the many successful and very pleased destination wedding couples that I had the pleasure of working with.  Kristin + Matt and their wedding guests proved once again that you do not need to have a huge amount of guests to have an incredibly fun night at your wedding reception. I've DJ'ed countless wedding receptions where there were 50 people or less and EVERYONE was on the dance floor all night long, but then there have been larger crowds where there may have been less dancing. Every single wedding is different and is composed of a different group of people with differing musical tastes. It's up to the bride and groom to hire a wedding DJ who will sit down with them to put together a wedding playlist that gives them the best chance for them and their guests to have the best time of their life. It is the music that matters at your wedding reception and what your guests will remember the most. Unless Oprah Winfrey's personal chef is the one cooking that will be cooking a 5 course dinner at your wedding reception, the odds are that your guests will not remember the food, but they will remember how much they danced at all night long. All modern brides and grooms should hire a wedding DJ that they truly feel comfrtable with and one that will help guide them through the process of putting together a playlist that 100% defines their musical tastes, as well as a DO NOT PLAY LIST. I'd love to speak with you about your upcoming wedding. Click on the link up above to be taken over to my contact form so that you can fill out some of the important details about your big day. I look forward to hearing from you. For more information about Why You Should Hire Me To Be Your DJ <-----CLICK HERE
