Michelle + David: Their Carriage House Wedding At Magnolia

If you are just finding this blog, you might be interested in knowing that Charleston, SC has blossomed into one of the top wedding destinations over the years. David & Michelle came to me by internet referral back in March of 2015. Mike Bills Entertainment has spared no expense on it's website, which has allowed modern brides and grooms like David & Michelle (who were located just outside the Washington DC area) to find me and hire me to be their wedding DJ. I've always been one of those wedding DJs who learned to cater to destination brides and grooms. They would choose the lovely Carriage House at Magnolia Plantation as the backdrop for their special day, all the while staying in a lovely beach house over on Folly Beach for the days leading up to their big day. Yes, you can actually get married on a plantation while staying at the beach, as lots of couples have done this. The Carriage House At Magnolia Plantation might just be one of the most sought after locations (when it comes to plantations) in the Charleston area. There is a certain peace I feel when I go out to the Carriage House. The Carriage House has it roots all the way back to 1840 and backs right up to the Ashley River, which is probably why it's so popular among modern brides and grooms. You simply could not have asked for better weather in Charleston for this late Sunday afternoon wedding ceremony and reception at The Carriage House. April and May are some of the prime wedding months in Charleston, so you can see David & Michelle hit me up over a year in advance to book me as their wedding DJ. For April 24, 2016, the weather was truly perfect with temperatures in the mid - upper 70s and low humidity. There was not a cloud in the sky as it came time for their wedding ceremony.

And there you have it, another happy couple who got married in one of the most beautiful cities in the country. Michelle + David were a couple who were into their music. Modern brides and grooms who are really into their music are a common theme because I have found over the years that when you make the music at their wedding ALL about them, there is a lot more fun to be had.
