Kristina & Richard : Old Summerville At Grandmother's House

22 April 2013

Having grown up in President Circle, (less than 1 mile away from the reception), there was a certain comfort I felt. While I was setting my equipment up on the deck in the backyard, there was a feeling that I had been here before, probably because I was familiar with the area growing up; it just felt comfortable.

Obviously, with this an being an outdoor reception, I was watching the weather from about a week out. We had a cold front approach on Friday afternoon with storms and it was predicted that showers were still possible in the morning. It was very close!

BRIDAL PARTY INTRODUCTION: "This Will Be An Everlasting Love" - Natalie Cole

FIRST DANCE: "Cinema"  - 6IX5

BRIDE / FATHER DANCE: "I Loved Her First" - Heartland

GROOM / MOTHER DANCE: "What A Wonderful World" - Louis Armstrong

BOUQUET TOSS: "Single Ladies" - Beyonce

GARTER TOSS: "Another Bites The Dust" - Queen

SEND OFF / FINAL DANCE: "Wonderful Tonight" - Eric Clapton

The weather was absolutely superb for the occasion and as the evening wore on, it actually felt a bit chilly with temps falling into the 50s before the evening ended.

Having grown up in that area, I saw some familiar faces from years ago.All in all, it was a good, home-town, family feeling!

Congratulations to Kristina & Richard!
