"Jumpin Jumpin" | Destiny's Child
This first track is a great one, and goes back nearly 17 years to the summer of 2000. Spending 16 weeks in the Top 10, it was one of the biggest radio hits of 2000. It was even bigger than "Say My Name". For more of an urban remix, be sure to check out the So So Def Remix.

"Jump Jive 'an Wail" | Brian Setzer Orchestra
Covering the classic Louis Prima song, we go back to the summer of 1998 when this track dropped and was heard all over the radio. This was the right song at the right time as swing was making a bit of a comeback in the late 90s. This song is sure to get your wedding guests jumping and out on the dance floor.

"Apache" (Jump On It) | Sugarhill Gang
We all love "Rapper's Delight" from 1979 and have even danced to the 14 minute long version of the song, but this track actually dropped in 1998 on their album "The Big Hit" and is certainly going to get your guests to "jump on it" (dance floor) :)

12 Songs To Get You Jumping on The Dance Floor

"Jump Around" | House Of Pain
Another hip hop track of the early 90s, this song samples the old Bob & Earl song from 1963 "Harlem Shuffle" but still has the capability to get any wedding crowd pumped up and dancing on the dance floor.

"Jump" | Kris Kross
Released in truly a golden era of dance and hip hop and rap, "Jump" by Kris Kross has become even more of a request on wedding playlists as we've seen a bit of a 90s nostalgia period in recent years.

"Jump" | Flo Rida & Nelly Furtado
The song speaks for itself. When I say "jump", you say how high. A great collaboration of Flo Rida and the lovely and talented Nelly Furtado sure to get the people "jumping" at your wedding.

"Jump & Shout" | Basement Jaxx Featuring MC Slarta John
If you are a fan of electronic music, you probably know Basement Jaxx.  Released in the fall of 1999, "Jump & Shout" featured MC Slarta John and made it to #12 on the UK charts.

"Jump In The Line" (Shake Senora) | Harry Belafonte
From the artist who gave us "Day-O" in 1956,  Harry Belafonte would release an album in 1961, "An Evening With Belafonte", which featured this classic song, where we were not only "jumping", but also "shaking".

"Jump On It" | Sir Mix Alot
From the guys who had you shaking your rump in 1992, Sir Mix Alot gave us "Jump On It" in 1996, which samples the classic Sugarhill Gang song, "Apache".  This release was not as successful as "Rump Shaker" in 1992, but wedding DJs have continued to play this by request.

"Jump" | Van Halen
The album was 1984. The year was 1984. "Jump" was released right before Christmas in 1983 and would become a Number 1 song for Diamond Dave and the boys on the Hot 100 charts, as well as the Mainstream Rock charts. "Jump" might be a great choice for the bridal party introduction if you'd like to take a classic rock direction on that song.

Released in the early part of 2014, "Jump" was part of Rihanna's 2012 album, Unapologetic. If you listen closely to the song, you'll hear her sample the lyrics of Ginuwine's classic song, "Pony".
