COVID-19 UPDATE

As 2021 begins, the uncertainty inside the wedding industry caused by COVID-19 is at an all-time high, and things will remain uncertain. If you postponed your wedding in 2020 and are seeking an open date in 2021, I would love to speak with you. If your wedding DJ has abandoned you because of COVID-19, I would love to speak with you.

2020 was one of the worst years in the wedding industry. Having been in the industry here in Charleston for a decade, I found myself looking back to 2015. On paper, it was one of the most successful years in Charleston, SC as it pertains to weddings. I’d like to try to bring that same success to 2021.

2015 Prices Are Coming Back

Since 2015, I’ve raised prices once and brought them down again. Now, as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic and in an effort to stimulate interest in booking a destination wedding in the Holy City, I am dropping prices and keeping prices at 2015 levels for the foreseeable future. There was no reason for prices to increase across the board every year since 2015, and this has caused the overall cost to get married in Charleston rise. When you combine this with an immense oversaturation of wedding vendors, less modern brides and grooms are choosing Charleston in recent years.
