Ed Sheeran At The Top As Charleston Wedding Season Begins

05 March 2017

Well, hello! 2017 is getting away from me already. Whether it's blogging or meeting with prospective clients and designing playlists for weddings, things are pretty busy right now so I had to scale back my weekly posts of the Top contemporary hit radio and urban rap songs because of time constrinats. Now that the calendar has turned to March, the wedding season has begun and we are already underway with spring weather. Maybe you are out and about on the final day of the Wine & Food festival here in Charleston, or maybe you are visiting venues and getting ready for own wedding. Lots of my wedding vendor colleagues were out and about this weekend at weddings. It was a spectacular weekend with great weather. And also as the calendar turned to March, the charts look quite a bit different than a month ago. The very talented Edsheeran who gave you a new mainstay on the first dance song list with "Thinking Out Loud" has hit the top spot of the CHR charts with "Shape Of You"

Meanwhile, "I Don't Wanna Live Forever" by Zayn & Taylor Swift from the Fifty Shades Darker movie sound track sits at Number 2. For the urban and rap charts, Big Sean takes over the top spot with "Bounce Back". WARNING: Some You Tubes on this post may contain offensive language, however all tracks chosen and played at weddings will have CLEAN lyrics.
